Mingha Field
Co-Founder of Qadar Express Travel
Mingha Field’s love for travel and dedication to helping others inspired her to co-found Qadar Express Travel alongside her husband, Ashraf. With a background in the corporate world, Mingha brings valuable experience in organization and customer care. Her warm and thoughtful approach ensures that every traveler’s journey is smooth, memorable, and spiritually enriching. Mingha’s commitment to excellence reflects in every detail, guiding Qadar Express Travel to provide meaningful pilgrimage experiences for all.
Mudathir Muhamed
Logistics and On-the-Ground Travel Assistant
A proactive and dependable young professional responsible for supporting, coordination,and execution of domestic and international travel logistics. This role includes on-the-ground assistance, ensuring smooth transitions between locations, handling real-time changes, and providing hands-on support to our mutamireen during travel.
Dr Sheikh Mahdi Hendricks
Dr Sheikh Mahdi Hendricks pursued advanced Islamic studies at Madinah University and went on to complete his BA, MA, and PhD at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). He has been teaching Arabic since 1978, beginning with private tuition from his home and later expanding his teaching into formal academic and religious institutions. His extensive experience includes serving as Imam and Principal of Baghdadi Masjid in Phoenix, Durban (KwaZulu-Natal), as well as teaching and serving as Principal at As-Salaam in Breamar. He later served as Imam of Masjidul Ishraaq in Grassy Park, where he also held the position of Principal of the madrasah. Dr Hendricks has lectured Arabic at ICOSA and IPSA and has taught at tertiary level as a lecturer at both the University of the Western Cape (UWC) and the University of Cape Town (UCT) for two semesters each. He is currently a Lecturer at the Madina Institute in Cape Town, teaching on the Master’s Programme, and continues to dedicate his life to Islamic scholarship, Arabic education, and community leadership.
